To enhance fine motor skills, use a rubber band, or hair tie to help stabilize pencils when your child begins to write.

Put stickers of capital and lower case letters on different spoons. Then have your child match the letters.

Place letters on construction paper, and let it lay in the sun. The paper will fade and leave impressions of the letters. Then using the same letters, have your child match the letters on the paper.
